Mrs. Beseda

 

 

Hello, I am Mrs. Beseda and I am the Dyslexia Interventionist for West Elementary.  This is my 5th year with West ISD and my 15th year in education.  I have been a classroom teacher in a Kindergarten and 3rd ELAR classroom.  

 

I love spending time with my family and going to all of the sporting events that my boys are involved in with the school and the West Youth Leagues.

 

I have my Bachelor's in Education and my Master's in Educational Leadership, both I received from Midwestern State University.

 

I look forward to working with my students this year and watching their successes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dyslexia on the West Elementary campus:

 

We are required to use programs approved by TEA and meet evidence-based components of dyslexia instruction and delivery of instruction.  West ISD uses the Multi-sensory Teaching Approach (MTA) and Reading by Design (RbD) to deliver specially designed instruction for our students.
