- Progress Report 2 (SIX WEEKS GRADE CHECK): This new grade report is set to go live in Skyward today, Monday, September 21, 2026, at 3:30 PM.
- West U Parent Academy: Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM via Zoom, the district will host the first West U Parent Academy of the year. The topics are: Student Mental Health Awareness and Dyslexia and other Related Disorders. If you can't make it, the Zoom will be recorded and shared out on the West ISD YouTube Channel. - West ISD Board and West City Council Town Hall: This Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the West KC Hall is a joint Town Hall between the West Board of Trustees and West City Council. The purpose of this Town Hall is to discuss possible uses for the former West Elementary School land and how the sealed bid process works when a Texas public school district is looking to sell land.
- "Seussical the Musical": This Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, 2026, the West High School theatre department kicks-off their new musical, "Seussical", in the West Middle and High School Auditorium. On Saturday, times are 2:30 and 7:00 PM and 2:30 PM on Sunday.
- West Education Foundation Casino Night: This new special evening of fun is set for Saturday, October 3, 2026, 6:00 PM at the KC Hall. The ticket link is located here: https://www.msbtickets.com/westhighschool1/schoolevents.
- 2026 Homecoming: The 2026 West High School Homecoming game is set for Friday, October 9, 2026, versus Mexia High School, at 7:00 PM at Trojan Field.
- 2026 Fall Break: The 2026 Fall Break is Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, 2026. All students also have off Monday, October 19, 2026 (staff work/conference day).
- Concession Stand Volunteers: The WABC is looking for volunteer help for the indoor/outdoor Concession Stands. The Booster Hub volunteer sign-up link is located here: https://wabc.boosterhub.com/about/12314
- STOPit Safety and Bully Reporting System: STOPit is the district's anonymous incident reporting system for students and parents for all safety and bully reporting needs. STOPit has an app feature you can download or the link is saved on your student's Chromebook main login page or the West ISD website (first button on the first row of the page).
- Staff Shoutouts - Thank a Trojan or Lady Trojan: West ISD loves hearing about our amazing employees!
