- This summer, Jennifer Buchanan, Transportation Supervisor, updated several district school bus transportation routes. Please note these changes will mostly affect all in-town bus riders and their bus number, driver, stop times, and route information. Mrs. Buchanan has posted all of the new route information to the West ISD website, and she is planning to attend all Meet the Teacher and Schedule Pick-Up events to share out the information as well. 7th Grade Immunization Requirement: Texas requires all incoming Grade 7 students to have the required immunizations on file before the first day of school. Please submit your child’s updated immunization record or a current, valid Conscientious Exemption (Affidavit) no later than the first day of school to avoid any interruption in attendance. TEA Authority: The Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires school districts to enforce the immunization requirements established by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) under the Texas Administrative Code as a condition of school attendance
- The following positions are still open for the 2026-2027 school year: School Bus Aide and Substitutes.
