Skyward Family Access Update

West ISD Families:

I have good news to report on the Skyward registration issues front. Mrs. Maler has shared with me that we are now good to go for all incoming grades 5 and 8 students (i.e., last year's grades 4 and 7 students). These students are now "showing up" in Skyward. Yahoo! Mrs. Maler, our district PEIMS Supervisor, asked me to share with everyone that we are still experiencing issues with our New and Returning Student Registration process relating to the recent nationwide Skyward outage. It appears that all incoming grades 5 and 8 students (i.e., last year's grades 4 and 7 students) are still not showing up in the Skyward system. Mrs. Maler has put in a work order to Skyward, and we are hearing that other local Skyward school districts are experiencing similar issues. Please know the minute this issue is resolved, I will send out a new ParentSquare letting everyone know we are good to go again. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
