INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE - The roads and driving routes across the West ISD attendance boundary will be evaluated this afternoon after 2:00 PM. A decision regarding school closure or a delayed start for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, will be made a little after that time. 

Please keep in mind that West ISD covers an area of over 127 square miles. Even though the main roads in-town and across the community are somewhat drivable, many rural roads and bridges, side roads, and driveways are still covered in ice.
