- Thanksgiving Break: The district's Thanksgiving holiday break is set for next Monday, November 24, through Friday, November 28, 2025.
- Next Grading Deadline: This Friday, November 21, 2025, is the last day of the Progress Report 4 grading period.
- 2026-2027 Draft West ISD Scholastic Calendar: The District Advisory Team (DAT) has discussed, crafted, and published the following linked calendar for next year. Calendar link: https://files.smartsites.parentsquare.com/5758/2026-2027_west_isd_scholastic_calendar_draft_1_1.pdf. Please know the DAT is seeking feedback on the calendar and has created a Google Form for all questions and comments. The Google Form link is: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdxYbXj0pILZvKZvgMwTb9nZsiJwteDJ5Va1hHrBvb75fKQeQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor. The Google Form will stay active until the December Regular Board Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
- Thank a Trojan or Lady Trojan Staff Spotlight: This program is a fun, new way to honor a West ISD staff member. The district's hope is that students, parents, community members, and/or co-workers will send in nominations for this new Staff Spotlight honor. Here's the link to nominate someone: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf2gi9yqBqMZAn0CeGjpgrxDgQkQf2BURD2tPAywSbU-3R0bQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor. The nominated staff members will be honored via a social media and website post along with a special treat.
- Food Drives: The West High School Key Club and Helping Hands are holding Fall Food Drives. Please see the list of food and bottled water needs on the district's social media pages.
