District Calendar Reminders

• "Hadestown, the Musical": The upcoming dates are Friday, October 3 (7:30 PM), Saturday, October 4 (2:30 PM and 7:30 PM), and Sunday, October 5 (2:30 PM), 2025, and then... Saturday, October 11 (7:30 PM), and Sunday, October 12 (2:30 PM and 7:30 PM). All performances are in the West Middle and High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10. 
• Report Card 1 Timeline: The last day of Grading Period 1 is Friday, October 10, 2025. 
• Fall Break Reminder (Student and Staff Holidays): Monday, October 13, through Friday, October 17, 2025 
  • Monday, October 20, 2025, is also a Student Holiday and a Staff Work and Meeting Day.

• Jacket Drive: The Helping Hands of West is holding a Jacket Drive for our students in need. Please see the post on the West ISD social media pages for the details. There are several requests for Youth 5-16 and Adult M-XL sizes for both girls and boys.

• Bus Drop-off for all PreK-Grade 2 Students: For all Prekindergarten through Grade 2 students, a parent, guardian, or sibling attending West High School must be present at the designated pick up and drop off location. If the parent, guardian, or high school-aged sibling is not present at the designated pick up and drop off location, the student(s) will receive a Bus Referral and possible suspension or removal from the bus. Also, a parent or guardian will be required to pick up the student(s) at the West ISD Transportation Department located at 406 W. Shook Street B (Bus Barn), West, Texas 76691.
• Fan Policy at all District 5 and 17 UIL Events: For all fans at any UIL athletic event, all officials have the authority to remove any fan at anytime before, during, or after an event. Also, please make note that the District Executive Committee (DEC) will then review each incident to rule on a possible ban for each fan removed from an event. Please continue our tradition of good sportsmanship and ensure no Trojan or Lady Trojan fans are asked to leave an event.
