Yasmine Montoya

Hello and welcome parents and students to our new year! 

My name is Yasmine Montoya and I have been teaching at West Elementary since 2017. I live here in West with my husband Patrick, my dog Rhemy, and my five kitties.  West is my hometown, where I was born, and where I went to school all my life. I went to Tarleton State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education, and I also have my ESL and Special Education certification.  I enjoy reading a good book, spending time with my family, and anything around the holidays (Christmas is my favorite). I am excited about starting this year and cannot wait to meet your child and the whole family!
