Pre-K Round-Up/Registration

West Elementary School will hold their Pre-K Round-Up on February 6, 2014 for paid tuition and qualifying. Registration will be held in the school cafeteria from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm..

To enroll for Pre-K, your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1st. If qualifying, you must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Eligible for free/reduced lunch
• English is the second language
• He / She meets the government’s definition of homeless
• He / She has a parent on active military duty or had a parent killed while serving in combat zone (Please call WES office at 981-2200 if qualifying by military reasons)

The following items are REQUIRED and must be brought on day of enrollment:

• Your child’s birth certificate
• Your child’s current shot record
• Your child’s social security card
• The parent / guardian’s driver’s license
• Proof of residence (Example: electrical bill or water bill)

Regarding Military:

Pre-K child has to be a dependent of the military person. Need proof – get copy of the DEERS card (this will show that the child is a dependent).
OR
We need a copy of the Military ID (this will show that the person is employed by the military) and need a copy of Income Tax papers to show dependency to show that military person claims child as dependent.
